Completed in August 2024, Martinez Elementary School in Little Elm, Texas, is a 113,500-square-foot campus designed to support 750 students through flexibility, efficiency, and connection. Designed by Pfluger Architects and built by Balfour Beatty, the project reflects a performance-driven collaboration with CMTA Engineers for Denton ISD.
The campus moves beyond the traditional school prototype—replacing long corridors and isolated zones with a central learning hub that connects classrooms, the library, dining, and outdoor spaces. This shared environment keeps students engaged, visible, and supported throughout the day.
A compact two-story layout minimizes exposed surface area, improving overall efficiency. Prefabricated wall panels by Baker Triangle Prefab further streamlined construction, arriving on site ready for installation.
